It all starts with:
A broken father and his daughter who dreams of ‘fixing’ him.
A cat who falls from the 8th floor and becomes a paraplegic.
A medical experiment involving 12 paralysed people in China.
A car accident in Italy.
This is how La Mécanique des Choses brought it all together in a crazy collective adventure to try to repair the irreparable.

Alessandra Celesia, trained at the École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, created Curious Industries in 2018, exploring the boundary between theatre and documentary. Her hybrid works combine stage and screen. His documentaries include Luntano (2006), The Belfast Bookseller (2012), Miraggio all’italiana (2013), Anatomy of a Miracle (2017). In 2022, he made his debut with Licheni in Aosta, exploring the intimate universe of the Italian Alps, an integral part of his childhood.
